Dr Samantha Dreghorn

Samantha is the owner and our Principal Dentist at Plean Street Dental. She is also our sedationist and has an interest in Invisalign and Facial Aesthetics. Samantha also trains newly qualified dentists and new dental nurses. Outside of the Practice, she likes to spend time with her husband Mark, their son Blair and the two dogs Winston and Meg.

Kirsty Drummond

Kirsty is our Practice Manager. She has worked at Plean Street since we took over in 2013. Kirsty is a qualified sedation nurse so you will see her in surgery from time to time . Kirsty enjoys hill walking, travelling with her boyfriend and hot tubbing in her free time.
Lori McManus
Lori is our receptionist and is the first friendly face you will encounter when you arrive. Lori will guide you through your journey with us from treatment appointments, advice and booking your family in for their check ups. In her free time, Lori is an avid hottubber and loves to spend time with her baby doggo Winnie.

Melissa Wylie

Melissa is one of our fantastic Dentists. She graduated from The University of Glasgow in 1989 and is covering Samantha's maternity leave for the next few months. Melissa is an amazing dentist and loves taking care of all her lovely patients. In her spare time, she enjoys running, spending time with family and travelling to sunnier parts of the world.
Ruth McKeown

Ruth graduated from The University of Glasgow in 2024 and is looking forward to working at Plean Street. Ruth has spent her last year completing her NHS training and is excited to provide excellent care for our NHS patients. In her spare time, Ruth loves to cycle, music concerts and holidays in the sun.

Dhikra Zedira

Dhikra started with us in the new year of 2025 as our new Dental Therapist. She will help us get you seen quicker for your treatment after seeing one of our Dentists as she can complete a whole range of treatments for them. Dhikra has three sons who she loves spending time with outside of work.

Natalie Deanie

Natalie is one of our lovely qualified nurses. She has worked with us since 2017 and enjoys treating the children that attend the practice. Natalie has 2 young kids of her own and enjoys spending time with her family.
Charlie McGowan
GDC
Jade joined our team in October 2019 and qualified as a dental nurse in December. Jade has had fun learning her new skills and is keen to continue. In her free time, Jade like socialising, playing mini golf and going to restuarants.
Amy Kelly
GDC
Amy is our trainee dental nurse and joined the team at the end of 2019. She proved herself on the dancefloor at the Christmas night out so we look forward to her passing her exam in summer 2021. Amy likes music, make up and a good tan.

Michaela McGhee

Michaela is our Lead Clinical Nurse. She runs all things clinical, ensuring our gold standards are maintained. She'll co-ordinate your journey with us and will make sure you are comfortable during your visits. Michaela has experience in dental aesthetics, helping you on your journey with whitening, bonding and Invisalign. Michaela likes raising money for charity and spending time with her boyfriend and family.
Siobhan Donnelly

Siobhan joined our team in 2025 and is our qualified dental nurse. Shiv can't wait to commence training to be our sedation nurse along side her regular nursing duties in surgery. In her free time, Shiv likes to cook and plan holidays with her boyfriend.
Nicole Breslin

Nicole is our qualified dental nurse and joined the team in 2022. She still loves working at Plean Street and enjoys all aspects of her work. Nicole is a dancer and in her spare time still enjoys a boogie.
Katie Kelly
GDC
Katie is our trainee Dental Nurse who is learning the ropes with us at Plean Street Dental. She comes to us from sunny Ayrshire where she lives with her boyfriend. She enjoys travelling and Chinese food.
